If I am reading these correctly, only the registered members in NC, SC, VA and TN are really MEMBERS. The rest of us are just to get a head count.. Please correct me if I have the wrong take on this.

Jim, all members are valid but lately there have been several people from across the country joining our club just to use the discounts. While we don't necessarily discourage that, some vendors have asked to restrict so that they are not giving discounts on every sale. If there's an issue with you getting a discount, please feel free to ask the vendor to contact me directly and I will vouch for you. I apologize for the hassle, but obviously we need to make sure that our vendors stay happy so they will continue to offer us discounts.

Jim I'll vouch for you too and all members especially you are a valuable part of this club. That said some folks will join to just get the club discounts while they really have no intention of ever contributing or participating in the club. Same goes when we have people who join and don't say hello, kiss my tale or anything else but proceed to put a bunch of stuff up for sale here...

Mark and the officers do all they can to protect our club sponsors and members from being abused and also help our active members to enjoy some great offers from those sponsors. ;)

Now I understand and that seems only right. I may be an old guy, but still new to how forums work and tend to forget how big they can become, yet still look small due to the number of members who actively post. Thanks for the explanations.
