THMMC 2012 Event Planning

OK THMMC folks, it is that time of year again. When things quiet down for the holidays and the cold, wet weather of winter. It is also the time of year when I start thinking about what MINI adventures I might want to do during the upcoming year. Either as a participant or as the planner for the event.

To help other folks out, especially anyone who may be thinking about planning an event, I have put together a draft schedule of events (see link to document below). It is based on previous year events. As you will see in the current version posted, for many events all I have at this point is the month. And for most of them, it may be a matter of someone stepping up to organize.

You may also notice a list at the bottom of events that have been held in the past. Perhaps someone may want to resurrect one of these.

Note (especially for our new members): Are you interested in putting on an event? All you need to do is plan it and post it. You don't need to get permission or anything. If you want help, just post a feeler in the Event Suggestions forum and someone will help out. Or PM me and I'll do what I can to help you out. The success of the club lies in the members.

If anyone wants to add anything to the schedule or has some more definitive dates, please post here and I'll update the document.
