I have a 2012 Cooper S Convertible that recently started showing it was running hot when it was not hot. There was a service bulletin stating that the sensor could corrode and show false readings. The solution was to put in a new style thermostat housing assembly that bypassed the original sensor. I had that done and now the radiator fan runs almost constantly. I was told the new housing assembly has a lower threshold for turning on the fan. Everytime I go more than a couple of miles, the fan is running when I turn it off. It is loud and irritating. Has anyone else had that situation and know of any solution. Thanks
