Hey guys. My wife’s 2007 Cooper S Convertible (R52) has a bad squeal I. The belt area. Since I’ve already replaced the harmonic balancer and the tensioner pulley assembly, I’m thinking it’s the idler pulley that’s squealing.
My question is... is the an aftermarket idler pulley that offers better service than an OEM replacement. The reason I ask - I upgraded the harmonic balancer on this car with the gel-filled one piece balancer, rather than that cheesy two-piece mess that Mini put on these cars.
Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated.
